We're looking for a smart, kind, and reliable QA Engineer who is eager to make a big impact to build and ship high quality products that millions of people use every day.

As a member of our QA team, you will monitor software quality using manual techniques with a view towards automation to improve processes. You'll be a part of a close-knit group of dedicated engineers that foster mentorship, encourage professional development, and share a passion to deliver rock-solid solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Identify, create, and triage clear and actionable issues while testing products such as web and mobile applications, and understanding how to resolve them.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases and strategies.
  • Validate features in an iterative agile manner.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and other team members to understand product features, test requirements, and to promptly deal with issues and defects.
  • Create documentation for QA activities, processes, and best practices.
  • Manage test resources such as personnel, test devices, test strategy, and time to test.
  • Identify opportunities to improve QA processes through automation and tooling to optimize testing.
  • Partner with our client stakeholders, providing QA insights, discussing progress and reporting on status of major defects.
  • Working in ET is a requirement for this role.

Job qualifications

Technical Skills
  • 5+ years Automation Experience within Unity/Gaming.
  • Experience with Alttester.
  • Strong foundation in manual exploratory testing and test case creation.
  • Self motivated with experience leading QA efforts on a project.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment including bug tracking or task management tools such as Asana, Bugzilla, Jira, or Pivotal.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in learning about test automation tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Comfort with remote collaboration across disciplines, and experience partnering with product managers and engineers.

Professional Skills

  • Experience working directly with clients.
  • Experience testing with specialized hardware (eg. wearables, smart home devices).
  • Experience with Continuous Integration solutions such as Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI, or similar solution.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Calabash.
  • Familiarity with Cloud applications (AWS, GCP, Azure), REST/SOAP APIs, and network protocol analyzer tools.
