Job Description

As a QA Analyst on our team, your responsibilities would involve participating in and
understand the creative briefings, creating test cases, ensuring all content is accurate,
and be a key member in all projects that flow through our department. You will help
ensure that all work meets the expectations of the client ask, and performs as expected,
as well as helping interpret client feedback. A strong understanding of front-end
development best practices and an eye for creative detail are key. Our main area of
focus is the creative and development production of digital display ads, email, and
microsites.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of front-end development languages and concepts.
    • Experience with JIRA and assigning bug tickets.
    • Experience working with email testing tools such as Litmus is an asset.
    • Document QA best practices and other quality assurance activities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
    • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
    • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
    • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
    • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client
    • needs.
    • QA Certified in DoubleClick Academy for Ads is highly recommended.
    • Work independently in a structured team without close supervision.
    • You understand cross-client, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
    • Strong ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
    • Coach creative, development, and team members from other disciplines to understand
    • the QA workflow.
    • Strong attention to details ensuring product is lacking errors.
    • Work closely with development and creative teams to ensure a high-quality product.
    • Believe in continuous learning and improvement.
    • Actively contributes to corporate knowledge base.
    • Strong analytical skill is required
    • Understanding of AODA/Accessibility testing is desired

    Other required qualifications

    University degree or college equivalent in a Quality Assurance program

    Experience

    • Minimum 1-2 years practical QA experience in a web development
    • environment.
    • Experienced with JIRA and assigning bug tickets/reports.
    • Experience in a fast-paced, and challenging environment.
    • Experienced with Accessibility tool is an asset
    • Experience in Ad’s/Front-end development is an asset
