The PositionThe PT Strategy Deployment Office enables the development of the Performance Promises Priorities—the TechOps bold response to the Pharma Vision—which is aimed at elevating overall performance.
The office orchestrates our Breakthroughs, focusing on PT priorities to deliver high-performance impact on a network level.
Furthermore, it drives performance improvement through the application of strategic assessments, analytical capabilities, and targeted performance initiatives for key groups.
The OpportunityAs the Head of Strategy Deployment, you will translate strategic goals into an integrated, PT-wide roadmap. In this enterprise-level role, You will act as a coach and architect across the Strategy Deployment team to ensure the delivery of our performance promises: fast, efficient, and robust.
You will connect all layers of the organization through the following responsibilities:
Drive the Performance Tracking work-stream and provide automated tools for a single source of truth.
Own the business process and database for macro initiative tracking, including milestones and risks.
Manage project management, document specialist, and communications contract resources.
Interface with site and functional managers to enable development of breakthrough initiatives.
Develop implementation plans to standardize processes such as roadmap development
Collaborate with the analytics hub to mature the enterprise-level measurement system.
Maintain momentum for change across the organization and lead SteerCo meetings with senior leadership.
Coach and manage project management team members or rotational talent.
Provide transparency to enable leadership decision-making across the global network.
You are a visionary enterprise-level leader who excels at connecting across all layers of an organization to drive strategic alignment. By leveraging your highly developed, situationally appropriate written and oral communication skills, you possess the ability to lead matrix teams, translating complex inputs into a clear operational vision while acting as a catalyst for change. With a deep understanding of lean concepts, you drive performance across the organization, navigate ambiguity effectively, promote rapid experimentation, and inspire others to act with a shared sense of purpose.
Further, you possess the following qualifications and experience:
BS Degree in scientific or technical disciplines (Advanced degree like MS or MBA preferred).
8+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in Pharma. A background in Consumer Goods is highly relevant, combined with a strong track record of leading change and organizational transitions.
Expertise in Lean Management and Operational Excellence. You are proven in defining and monitoring KPIs and acting as an effective advocate to senior management and diverse governance bodies.
Global situational leadership and coaching. Strong expertise in performance coaching across diverse environments, with international/global experience strongly preferred.
Ability to travel globally (approximately 30%).
