Synopsis of the role

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, Equifax is looking for a Proposal Specialist/Writer. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of prospective/existing client-issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) to accurately and favourably position Equifax services.
What you’ll do

  • Responsible for the timely completion of prospective/existing client-issued Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) to accurately and favourably position Equifax services

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of RFP/RFI response process

  • Maintain open communications and work closely with stakeholders during the RFP process

  • Identify appropriate internal subject matter experts to review/verify RFP responses

  • Establish and communicate appropriate deadlines to all stakeholders

  • Consistently communicate with all RFP stakeholders to establish clear division of responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Sales and Consulting and Operations managers to address selected response items

  • Develop and maintain RFP response database for assigned service offerings

What experience you need 

  • Bachelors degree, degree in business, communication, marketing or related fields

  • Proven effectiveness translating solutions into effective business proposals

  • Ability to analyze various business products and services

  • Experience coordinating proposal development

  • Experience editing content for clarity and consistency 

  • Deadline driven and able to adhere to aggressive proposal schedule deadlines and work with cross-functional teams
