What this job involves:
JLL is seeking a Proposal Manager (internally referred to as Manager, Sales Enablement ) to manage and elevate our national pursuit activities through the strategy and execution of high-impact sales enablement activities. The Manager will own the end-to-end pursuit process and drive all business development marketing initiatives that build JLL's brand, sharpen its competitive positioning, and grow market share across Canada.
Reporting to the National Senior Director, Sales Enablement Canada, this individual will set the standard for winning strategies and creativity across all pursuit materials — bringing a differentiation-first mindset to every client engagement. The Manager will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to brokerage teams, leading the development of compelling, insight-driven proposals and presentations that win.
This is a hybrid position with a combination of in-office presence at our downtown Toronto location and remote work flexibility
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Contributes to execution of proposal strategy by generating customized, quality pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and client/prospect presentations for new business pursuits and renewals.
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of data relevant to new business pursuits. Performs analysis on gathered data and provides insights and summaries relevant to potential clients and industries.
- Executes on pursuits to ensure the right resources are in place, deadlines are met, and quality control is meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Completes due diligence and competitive analyses for new and existing business pursuits including research, analytics, data mining, and data collection.
- Understands and analyzes industry trends and competitive activity.
- Identifies new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals on an ongoing basis.
- Operates in a state of continuous process improvement.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifies and develops the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Plans and develops meaningful responses through research, technical writing, and editing.
- Ensures thoughtful and strategic content development with strong visual communication techniques and design using appropriate software.
- Arranges and participates in internal debriefs.
- Formulates, organizes, and updates content within a library used for various assignments.
- Alongside the Sales Enablement Lead, develops design, presentation, and content templates to increase consistency across the JLL Canada pursuit process.
- Works with internal resources to pull in subject matter experts when needed.
- Takes a proactive approach when faced with challenges and performs all duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant marketing experience in commercial real estate or related industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or Communications.
- Prior experience in proposal and pitch delivery in the CRE, Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering industries is an asset.
- Strong writing, editing, and graphic skills are essential.
- Ability to write clearly and effectively for business pursuits.
- Ability to create and develop creative collateral to support business pursuits, marketing initiatives, and presentations.
- Possesses a blend of creative vision, technical skills, hands-on experience, and strategic knowledge.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Works effectively within a team environment while also able to take initiative and work independently.
- Enjoys learning and is adaptable to varying asks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
