The Role
Position Summary
The Propane Supply Pricing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement and costing of propane supply across the company’s operating regions. The role ensures accurate cost capture, market visibility, disciplined supply pricing execution, and clear communication between supply, operations, and sales teams. 
Success in this position means protecting margin, improving price responsiveness, and providing reliable analytics that drive profitable decisions. This position offers an annual salary of $60,000.
 
Key Responsibilities
Supply & Cost Management
  • Maintain daily visibility to rack, terminal, and contract supply costs.
  • Track transportation, exchange, storage, and ancillary costs to determine true landed cost by region.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices, contracts, and volume allocations.
  • Monitor inventory positions and support supply planning.
Market Intelligence
  • Track wholesale indices (e.g., Conway, Mont Belvieu, Edmonton, Sarnia as applicable).
  • Provide summaries of daily/weekly market changes and implications.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in spreads, freight, and supply availability.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Produce regular margin, variance, and trend reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with supply cost assumptions.
  • Maintain dashboards for leadership showing supply economics.  
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Act as a bridge between supply, finance, sales, and branch operations.
  • Communicate supply price changes clearly and consistently.
Controls & Accuracy
  • Ensure data integrity in pricing systems.
  • Support audits and contract compliance.
  • Improve processes that increase speed and accuracy of pricing updates.

What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in propane, refined fuels, or energy commodities preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/pricing systems is an asset.
  • Ability to translate complex market information into practical actions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
