Job Description
The client is seeking a Senior Site Lead / Project Manager to support the onboarding of clinics and healthcare providers to an eReferral and eOrder platform. The role is responsible for leading site activations, coordinating project delivery activities, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful implementation of digital health solutions across healthcare sites. The consultant will work closely with clinics, physicians, hospital staff, vendors, health authorities, and provincial healthcare partners to deliver digital transformation initiatives within the Digital Health Innovation portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinic and site onboarding projects for eReferral and eOrder platform implementations.
- Manage project delivery to achieve objectives within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with clinics, physicians, hospital staff, Ministry of Health representatives, Health Authorities, Doctors of BC, and vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned sites and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
- Facilitate and chair project meetings.
- Coordinate communication among project teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, plans, reports, and records.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and governance committees.
- Manage project scope changes and approval processes.
- Monitor project financials, resources, issues, and risks.
- Escalate significant issues and drive resolution.
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards and project governance processes.
- Support site activations, deployments, and other digital health initiatives within the portfolio.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience delivering digital solutions to healthcare sites.
- Experience leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery.
- Experience facilitating consultation processes with diverse stakeholder groups, including vendors.
- Extensive experience communicating with clinical and non-clinical staff, senior leadership, and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Understanding of technologies within a provincial healthcare ecosystem.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Preferred Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working within BC Health Authorities.
- Knowledge of OceanMD.
- Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and CIS (Clinical Information Systems).
