Position Overview

Is operational excellence your mindset? Do you thrive on solving complex challenges while keeping both the big picture and the critical details in focus? Are you a master at crafting compelling presentations and transforming complex information into clear, actionable insights? If you excel at driving alignment and bringing structure to dynamic environments, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Industry Strategy team for Autodesk Design & Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Project Manager with exceptional planning, execution, and tracking skills to drive high-impact initiatives. In this role, you'll break down complex processes into clear, actionable steps, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and ensure progress on mission-critical projects. You will influence without authority and align cross-functional teams. As a strategic coordinator, skilled storyteller, trusted advisor, and force multiplier, you will help execute, coordinate, and communicate key initiatives that directly impact our business success.

You will work closely with senior leaders in Go-To-Market Strategy (GTM), Market and Industry Development, Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, shaping strategic priorities and driving operational excellence. This role will report to the Director and chief of Staff for Industry Strategy, Design, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence by identifying and executing opportunities to improve efficiency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Design and execute processes that translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on market evaluation, positioning, packaging, pricing, and overall GTM coordination.

  • Facilitate strategic planning with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership team, defining priorities, milestones, and success metrics.

  • Craft clear, compelling, and visually impactful presentations to communicate complex information effectively to senior leadership, CEO Staff, and key stakeholders.

  • Serve as a key business partner, driving and optimizing team operations to increase strategic alignment, team efficiency, and productivity.

  • Support the Product Analytics team by simplifying reporting tools, orchestrating stakeholder coordination, and managing communications.

  • Build strong alliances and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and trust.

  • Champion a culture of feedback and iteration to ensure programs consistently evolve and improve.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management, leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong sense of ownership with a bias for action – someone who thrives on solving complex problems.

  • Exceptional communicator and influencer, able to connect cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and ensure accountability.

  • Experience creating impactful, visually compelling presentations using PowerPoint.

  • Composed under pressure, excelling in high-stakes, fast-paced environments.

  • Trusted partner who demonstrates executive presence and experience managing high-touch relationships and highly sensitive strategy and planning discussions.

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making.

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to shift priorities and take on new responsibilities as business needs evolve.

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing or managing GTM activities in the software industry.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and leading through unstructured environments.

  • Strong financial acumen with an analytical and data-driven approach.

  • Leadership experience (direct or indirect).

  • Proficiency in project/database management tools such as Airtable.
