As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end project management for key initiatives at Forward Financing, ensuring projects are on-time and are aligned with business expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. As a member of the Technology department, you will join a team dedicated to driving improvements that drive business productivity and supporting the company’s mission to unlock the capital that fuels small businesses across America.

In this role you will:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for technology initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Drive Agile or hybrid project methodologies to manage workstreams efficiently.

  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.

  • Communicate project status, milestones, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.

Role Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a technology or software development environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or other project management methodologies.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with engineering teams and understanding software development life cycles (SDLC).

  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
