The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of engineering projects for UV water purification systems supplied to large buildings. This includes the creation of site-specific drawings using programs such as Visio, obtaining municipal permits, managing contractors, supervising installations, coordinating commissioning, and overseeing the maintenance cycle. The position requires travel to various project sites to conduct on-site assessments and oversee project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, from logistics and installation to long-term maintenance.
  • Design: Work with contractors and engineers to produce project-specific designs using programs such as Visio.
  • Permitting: Work with contractors and municipalities to apply for and secure all required permits.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with clients, manufacturers, contractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Installation Supervision: Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and subcontractors during the installation phase.
  • Coordinate Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning process to ensure systems are installed and functioning according to specifications.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Cycles: Plan and coordinate maintenance events, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Project Reporting: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and kept up-to-date.
  • Regulation Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during project execution.
  • Monitor System Performance: Monitor the remote-access data for system functioning and initiate as-needed maintenance events to ensure that the system is always operating above the Minimal Operating Standard

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management for engineering, preferably in the field of water purification, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of water and plumbing systems and preferably experience with filters, UV water purification technology is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Visio or similar software for creating detailed site-specific drawings is required.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven experience in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Salary Range:

  • $100,000-$130,000 based on experience. No bonus.
  • Ai is not used in the interview process.
