What You’ll Do Day-To-Day- Coordinate the planning and completion of IT projects with assigned business groups.
- Provide technical leadership of all aspects of the project, including technical design, setting of deadlines, assigning of responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress.
- Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of networking, databases, systems and/or Web operations.
- Understands systems analysis, applications development, database design and/or administration.
- Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
- Knowledge of the project management plan development, implementation and administration.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers.
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Commercial (ISO) and Nuclear (N299) quality programs
- Understanding of Conventional or Nuclear power plant mechanical and/or electrical components and systems.
- Understanding of various power plant ASME code requirements
Total Rewards Package
- Salary: $85,000-$110,000 CAD and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
