This Position reports to:

Gestionnaire, Planification & contrôle
 

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts for all project phases of individual delivery for small to medium size projects. Each day, you will maintain and analyze actual and forecasted schedules, costs, revenues, cash in/out, as well as risks and opportunities. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring, reporting, and managing deviations proactively.
The work model for the role is hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Process Industries division in the North American region. Main stakeholders are Project Managers, Operations, Controllers and Financial analysts.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supervising project execution and performance with well-maintained schedule, cost, cash and risk planning of the individual project.
  • Analyzing project requirements and checking that all essential work activities have been identified in sufficient detail to serve as a basis for developing realistic project schedules.
  • Monitoring project progress and regularly analyzing project critical paths to ensure all critical path activities and project milestones are progressed to the plan.
  • Ensuring that the individual projects are closed as per contracts entered with customers.

What it takes to run what runs the world 

  • Degree in Business, Administration, Finance, or a related field (considered an asset).
  • You have at least 2 years of proven experience in Project Controlling in a Project Business Environment.
  • You are passionate about project performance and all commercial matters.
  • Possess a high work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use different ERPs and tools. Experience with SAP and Excel is definitely an asset.
  • French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. 
  • You hold a valid work permit in Canada.
