Title: Project Finance and Reporting Senior Analyst

Total Potential Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be assisting in the facilitation, preparation and analysis of IT Financials, Capacity Management and internal process improvement initiatives within IT.
The annual budget and quarterly forecasts will require working closely with the Finance Department and IT leadership. An analytical mindset will be required to build and new KPIs, identify financial opportunities and enable optimal decision making for IT department.
The capacity Management aspect requires collaborating closely with all levels of the IT team thus an eye for developing strong partnerships and trust will be essential.
The internal process improvement will be a critical part of the role and it is expected a high level of intellectual curiosity to challenge status quo and start initiatives that will be translated to efficiencies within the department and organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain robust data models, records, and subledgers to ensure IT has real‑time transparency and control over departmental spending.
Collaborate with IT leadership on the creation of relevant Reports and Dashboards, deriving insights and driving measurable impact through financial and operational recommendations.
Reconcile Project and Run Operate expenses with accounting records
Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures
Assist with the preparation of IT Budget and Forecast
Manage lifecycle of a vendor contract, start to renewal and/or termination
Liason with Procurement on vendor negotiations, bundling and multi-year agreements.
Create presentations for IT and Business leadership
Support audit activities as required and perform additional ad‑hoc responsibilities in alignment with evolving departmental needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum education level of a University Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Project Life Cycle and Software Development Lifecycle
Expert knowledge of MS Excel. PowerBI and JIRA will be an asset.
Proficient experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Strong knowledge of data management, aggregation, and analysis techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5+ years experience working in the financial reporting ideally in Financial Sector or Banking industry is preferred, preferably within Finance, IT or Project Management.
