This is your opportunity to join Watercare’s Programme Delivery team, and join an organisation where you will be able to make a real difference to Auckland’s infrastructure!

This role is pivotal in providing construction supervision and project engineering services during the delivery of infrastructure projects, with a focus on water and wastewater network renewals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accepted quality of deliverables is achieved in accordance with standards and specifications.
  • Work is being performed safely - Health and Safety is a key focus.
  • Providing project and construction management support to Project Manager.
  • Ensuring environmental controls are in place and functioning as intended.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a team environment, and be an excellent communicator.

Your skills and background must include:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction and or water engineering.
  • A strong team approach with the ability to communicate to people across the organisation, both internally and externally.
  • Experience managing or supervising construction work over multiple sites.  
  • A qualification in construction management or engineering (Bachelor of Engineering ( or equivalent qualification is desirable).   
  • Experience with water and wastewater pipeline assets and construction.
  • A full driver’s license is essential.
