Coordinate production schedules, release repair scopes, communicate with customers, manage parts and BOM changes, support quotations and field service coordination to ensure timely repairs and optimized shop capacity.

As our Production Control Coordinator, you’ll be at the centre of everything we do—connecting customers, vendors, and our shop team to ensure repairs and service work flow smoothly through our Toronto Quick Response Center. Your ability to respond quickly, solve problems, and keep production on track will directly impact our customers and our success.

Responsibilities:
• Develop production schedules, monitor workload capacity, and optimize shop resources to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Release repair scopes and daily routers to the shop following customer approval.
• Communicate with customers regularly regarding shop repairs and field service activities.
• Prepare and deliver detailed repair and service proposals to customers.
• Work with Purchasing and Sales Engineering to ensure required parts and materials are available throughout the repair process.
• Process Bill of Material changes for work orders in production.
• Assist Operations and Sales Engineering with developing quotations by reviewing inspection data, purchase orders, Bills of Material, and shop capacity.
• Support field service technicians and management by coordinating activities at customer locations.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of industrial planning experience, ideally in a repair, machining, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of material and parts flow within a shop environment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, industry standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to calmly resolve issues and support positive working relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as required, in accordance with Ontario employment standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
Preferred:
• Experience with pumps, hydraulics, or rotating equipment.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
