Your Responsibilities
- Resolve complex technical problems using advanced problem solving skills and all available resources.
- Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.
- Act as a technical reference and escalation point for a team, resolving somewhat complex and unforeseen issues and providing advice and guidance on process and procedure, to support others in delivering their duties.
- Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.
- Maintain and lead periodic check-ins with Product Support representatives to ensure they're receiving the most updated information on customer issues.
Your What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of experience in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing related field.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with forestry or heavy off road equipment products
- Experience with complex hydraulic & electrical systems
- Experience reading hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Experience with software such as MPPlanner, end of line test stand software, EDL, and SAP
Education
- Diploma, associate degree in a mechanical, electrical, or similar and applicable engineering discipline
