Job Summary
Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Owner will help us build innovative and
high-quality products that combine intuitive designs, advanced analytics, efficient
workflows, and high-end system engineering. d1g1t product owners play a critical role in
building next-generation wealth management solutions. As a Product Owner, you will
own product development from conception to launch. To do so, you will collaborate with
the product, financial engineering, software engineering, and client services
departments to define and help execute the product vision.   

Responsibilities
As the Product Owner, you play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our mission of
transforming the wealth management industry. Your responsibilities will include, but are
not limited to:
 Collect and review client reporting requirements and translate them into work for
the development team
 Write user stories, technical specs, define acceptance criteria, and maintain a
prioritized backlog of epics, user stories, tasks, and technical debt based on
feedback from various stakeholders
 Work with the report development team in an agile environment (Kanban) to
deliver incremental value for our clients and the business
 Engage in day-to-day activities with the development team, such as attending
daily scrum ceremonies, leading backlog grooming sessions, and participating in
team retrospectives
 Maintain an understanding of industry and country regulations with regards to
investor reporting
 Review the reporting roadmap and workflows and make recommendations how
best to iterate, improve, and optimize
 Collaborate with the product manager and report development team to:
o Review development requirements and ensure they are complete
o Help the development team break down and scope development items
o Groom the development backlog to ensure that it delivers the highest
value
o Track the development cycle and adjust priorities when required
o Track metrics of the development progress to help guide product
development
o Perform quality assurance on development items and coordinate user

acceptance testing with the development team and stakeholders.

Qualifications: 
 Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or product owner certification (i.e. CSPO,
PSPO)
 2+ years of professional experience in product management, finance, and/or
technology.  Experience with BI Tools an asset (i.e. SSRS, SQL).
 Experience working in an agile, start-up environment.
 Natural problem solver, enjoys figuring out complex problems in a focused,
practical, creative, and efficient manner. 
 Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with interacting with
technical teams. Ability to work collaboratively with clients, using a
communication style appropriate to the audience. 
 Detail oriented with an appreciation for design
 Highly Determined, curious and eager to learn new technical concepts
(development, finance, data analysis etc.)
 Comfortable with multi-tasking, context-switching, and handling a high volume of
work
