Job Description

What you'll be doing 

  

You’ll be joining CIBC’s ECRM Enablement team, responsible for delivering enhancements to optimize frontline productivity and growth, aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Product Owner, you’ll lead small and medium end-to-end project implementation and act as a subject matter. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience. 

  

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

  

How you'll succeed 

  • Own the product backlog – Create and maintain a prioritized backlog for the Loyalty platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.  

  • Translate strategy into delivery – Convert high-level requirements and business objectives into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.  

  • Drive agile execution – Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other agile ceremonies to ensure smooth delivery.  

  • Collaborate across teams – Work closely with Marketing, Technology, Data, and Customer Experience teams to deliver Salesforce capabilities such as Journey Builder flows, Automation Studio processes, and audience segmentation.  

  • Stakeholder engagement – Keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle, managing competing priorities effectively.  

  • Monitor and communicate progress – Report on pod progress, risks, and dependencies in a clear, structured way.  

  • Mentor and lead – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Skills & Experience 

  • You can demonstrate 2 to 3 years of work experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Loyalty Management; strong willingness to deepen expertise, product ownership, digital marketing, technology delivery, or marketing operations. 

  • You can demonstrate 2 to 3 years of work experience in product ownership, digital marketing, technology delivery, or marketing operations, writing user stories and managing product backlogs in an agile environment. 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Curiosity and passion for customer engagement, and marketing technology. 

  • You have an undergraduate degree required; product, marketing, or Salesforce certifications considered assets.
