What we’re doing
We’re building the AI-powered coaching platform that transforms how gamers learn, compete, and win. Backed by a16z and $12M in funding, we’re live in 5 titles with 100K+ users, expanding rapidly into new games, hardware partnerships, and SDK integrations.
You’ll Thrive Here If…
- You’re energized by ambiguity and move fast to bring clarity where others stall.
- You get a rush from finding the simple, elegant solution to a messy, complex problem.
- You think like a GM//always asking how a product choice impacts revenue, growth, and user success.
- You’re creative at problem solving — able to structure messy problems, build frameworks, and beat ambiguity with clear, actionable paths forward.
Some things you’ll do
- User discovery & insights
- Embed yourself into gamer communities (Reddit, Discord, conferences) to surface real user needs and trends.
- Talk to users, run surveys, and synthesize feedback into actionable insights.
- Translate customer problems & business goals into clear, prioritized product requirements.
- Analyze product usage patterns (SQL, Mixpanel) and connect insights directly to business outcomes.
- Data-driven decision-making
- Define success metrics, own dashboards/funnels/experiment readouts, and deliver decision-ready insights.
- Size and scope opportunities using product data, market sizing, and an 80/20 lens to de-risk decisions quickly.
- Identify opportunities to double down, design/run experiments (A/B tests, pilots), and present clear recommendations.
- Product strategy & execution support
- Surface & scope opportunities — investigate market pain points, partner with leadership on shaping strategy, then translate direction into scopes, specs, and cross-team execution.
- Write scopes/specs, manage JIRA, and keep initiatives moving smoothly across Design/Eng/Marketing
- Support launch plans, onboarding flows, rollout processes, and usage monitoring.
- Connect product metrics to conversion, activation, retention, and revenue

• 1+ years experience in a fast-paced, analytical role (e.g., chief of staff, bizops, VC/PE, banking, consulting, or growth-focused roles at a high-growth tech company)
- Analytical & strategic
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, design/interpret experiments, and make data-driven decisions

• Deep user empathy, first-principles thinker, obsessed with simple, elegant solutions
• Excellent communicator who can turn chaos into clarity and align stakeholders
You WILL NOT enjoy this role if
- You need a rigid playbook or lots of hand-holding — this is a fast-moving startup with shifting priorities.
- You avoid digging into data or SQL, being data informed is core to this role.
- You prefer long research cycles over shipping quickly and iterating.
- You’re uncomfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
- You aren’t naturally hyper-organized you’ll be expected to keep metrics, JIRA, specs, and experiments tidy and up-to-date so the team can move fast.
- You don’t play video games
