The Role


As a Product Manager at Beacon, you will work closely with the Director of Product Management to drive execution across our financial products. This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and external partners.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll help launch new features, improve existing experiences, coordinate with partners, analyze performance, and play a key role in bringing new products and capabilities to market.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio including:

  • Canadian banking infrastructure
  • Remittance and bill payments products
  • Wallets and account management
  • Strategic partnerships and integrations
  • Consumer and Business banking solutions


What You'll Do
  1. Own a or multiple problem space(s) (e.g., Beacon Money Account, remittances, India bill pay, or Beacon Business) and define clear product outcomes, success metrics, and roadmap.
  2. Write product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation, work closely with Engineering and Design to clarify requirements and unblock execution, coordinate sprint activities, release readiness, testing, and post‑launch monitoring, and track action items to ensure timely execution across stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with Design, Growth and Customer Support on go‑to‑market, positioning, pricing, and lifecycle journeys; ensure every launch has a sharp narrative and measurable impact.
  4. Use data to prioritize ruthlessly: define and track KPIs, run A/B tests, and iterate quickly based on performance and qualitative feedback. Help identify and evaluate new features, products, and partnership opportunities
  5. Stay on top of competitor offerings and regulatory / market developments in fintech, cross‑border payments, and newcomer banking to inform product strategy.
  6. Collaborate with banks, payment providers, and fintech partners to drive product initiatives, oversee integration tasks, issue resolution, and partner deliverables, and contribute to partner selection, implementation, and ongoing relationship management.


What We're Looking ForRequired Experience
  • Canadian experience not required.
  • 3-5 years of Product management experience in a fast paced work environment. Experience in fintech, payments, banking, wealth management, or financial services is not required but would be a plus.
  • Comfortable working closely with Engineering and Design teams in an agile/semi agile product development processes across timezone and remote employees in Latin America and India.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or platform products.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and data extraction using SQL and Metabase.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team member who values feedback and an environment of continuous improvement, accountability and ownership.
Preferred Personal attributed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement post product launch. Is Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and “0→1” building; you enjoy startup speed, constraints, and wearing multiple hats.
  • Experience working with operationally intensive products.
  • Prefers autonomy but doesn’t hesitate to ask for guidance when needed.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, or product workflows.
