About the Role
Workers for Platforms lets anyone build their own platform on top of Cloudflare's Developer Platform, turning Cloudflare's infrastructure, compute and storage primitives into a programmable foundation others can build on.
As a Product Manager for Workers for Platforms, you'll define and execute the strategy that helps developers build platform businesses on top of Cloudflare. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, partnerships, and design to make Cloudflare's primitives - Workers, Durable Objects, Agents, AI inference, and more - composable for any company to use as their own infrastructure.
What You'll Do
  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for Workers for Platforms
  • Work hands-on directly with some of Cloudflare's biggest customers, every day
  • Define the APIs, management layers, and developer experience that make it possible for customers to extend Cloudflare's developer platform to their own customers.
  • Get in the details of APIs we provide to developers, working closely with engineers
  • Represent Cloudflare externally

Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
You do whatever it takes to ship and solve problems for customers - whether that means writing code, debugging with a customer, writing docs or learning how to do something new to you. Successful PMs at Cloudflare are unafraid to roll up sleeves, get into details and ask questions.
  • You use AI effectively to move faster and learn faster.
  • You show rather than tell - using code examples, demos, prototypes
  • Developer focus - you'll be working directly, and often be a part of the customers team in helping them get their initial implementation off the ground
  • Strong technical abilities. You are capable of wading into the details & understanding engineering decisions' impact on the product, but can also drive 30k foot view
  • A desire to sweat the details and ship great developer experiences
  • A love for talking to developers at organizations both large and small on a daily basis so that you can build and ship products that solve real problems.
