About the team and the role:

As a Product Manager on eBay’s Seller Experience team, you will be responsible for optimizing the tools our Sellers rely on to operate quickly, accurately and profitably, improving customer satisfaction and marketplace competitiveness. You will drive the roadmap for eBay’s Seller facing fulfillment tools (Orders) across Native, My eBay & Seller Hub.
 

What you will accomplish:

  • Drive qualitative & quantitative customer research and develop a clear understanding of Seller pains / gains.

  • Partner with adjacent domains (Shipping, Payments, Feedback, Fashion, Collectibles etc.) to identify shared objectives, track dependencies & optimize projects for efficiency

  • Define & deliver product initiatives that address opportunities identified in research & cross department collaboration to improve core metrics (speed / quality / cost) within Orders

  • Collaborate with a dedicated scrum team to strengthen your proposals, estimate the effort required and prioritize internal & external initiatives on the roadmap

  • Work with Design partners to develop a UX that is consistent with eBay design standards, and write user stories with complete acceptance criteria to bring your projects to dev ready

  • Support development through to release and handle ramp plans, experimentation, and evaluation of initiatives.
     

What you will bring:

  • Business degree or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management role working with dedicated scrum teams in an Agile environment

  • Experience working in fulfillment operations (pick/pack/ship) / warehouse management systems (WMS) 

  • Experience applying optimization frameworks such as Lean

  • Curiosity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consistent record to pull insights from data and customer interviews

  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience communicating frameworks and decisions to cross-functional teams and partners

  • Passion for creating outstanding products and genuine compassion for the challenges faced by eBay’s sellers
