Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced B2B Product Manager to work with our Payments products, including defining and launching new products and improving existing ones. This individual must possess a blend of business and technical savvy. We want someone who’s experienced and comfortable with a fast-paced high-growth environment, which means you’ll be given ownership and great responsibility.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will drive the vision and direction for the product that you own, and will coordinate all parts of the product’s lifecycle, from ideation to successful go-to-market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with sales and marketing to define the go-to-market strategy and develop and communicate product positioning, key benefits, and the target customer profile. You will also serve as the product evangelist for your offering, working with sales, customer success, strategic partners, and key customers. You will work with product design, product owners, and engineering leadership to define requirements, set clear priorities, and review schedules to ensure the timely delivery and successful launch of a high-quality product.

Responsibilities: 

  • Be the expert on the market, our users, and the problems they need to solve
  • Evaluate market requirements including market research to determine key trends and competitive threats
  • Develop and lead go-to-market plans including product launches, pricing, packaging, messaging, and sales enablement to increase product revenue and launch new products successfully
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of your product
  • Develop, prioritize, and maintain the roadmap for your product
  • Get involved with build, buy, partner analysis and decision making
  • Work closely with our Product Designers and integrate user research and data analysis into new products and features, building an experience that customers will love
  • Partner closely with our product owners and business analysts to communicate the customer problem, product requirements, success criteria, and priorities so that they can create user stories, groom backlogs, and execute successful sprints
  • Liaise with our strategic product partners on product rollouts, upgrades and other initiatives
  • Develop internal and customer facing release notes that communicate and develop excitement for the functionality released and the value delivered

Requirements and Skills: 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a product manager in a B2B SaaS business
  • Exposure to payments products preferred
  • Previous experience working with strategic product partners a bonus
  • Experience with Agile development processes, writing user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills
  • Data-driven decision-making experience
  • Great track record of working with sales, customers, customer success, engineering, and design teams: people should want to work with you again
