As a Product Manager at TripArc, you will lead the product vision and strategy for our cutting-edge platform, focusing on a specific domain or product. You will drive initiatives that seamlessly blend user-centric design with advanced technology to enhance the travel experience. This role requires strong strategic thinking and the ability to execute on those strategies, aligning business objectives with user needs. You will provide leadership in guiding cross-functional collaboration, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions within our platform. 


Responsibilities:

Product Strategy: Support the development and execution of a compelling product vision and strategy for offering travel insurance and ground transport within our technology platform. 

Roadmap Planning: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the designated domain, outlining specific features and initiatives on the new platform, prioritizing according to impact, market opportunities and customer needs.

Product Requirements: Responsible for creating product briefs and detailed requirements followed by translating these requirements into epics and user stories for development

Product Delivery: Oversee the development process in collaboration with Development, UX, QA and Delivery Managers ensuring timely project delivery meeting predefined requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders and support teams to build and execute effective go-to-market strategies for your product(s).

Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (OKRs) crucial for measuring the success of the product or feature, facilitating continual improvement.

Stakeholder Communication: Foster transparent communication with team leads and external travel vendors & internal clients.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in the travel tech platform's development and suggest proactive mitigation plans.

Process Improvement & Documentation: Support the development and enhancement of new processes and knowledge base articles aimed at standardizing Product Management practices. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, technology, hospitality, or travel management)
  • Proven track record in product management with 5+ years of experience, preferably within the travel tech or hospitality industry
  • Additional certifications or training in travel technology or product management are advantageous
  • Prior experience working in the travel industry or building tools for B2B platforms is an asset.

  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt to change 
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • SQL knowledge is a bonus
