About the team and the role:
The Vehicles team at eBay is seeking a Product Manager, who is passionate about online commerce, customer experience and the Vehicles category. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the ecommerce revolution by promoting innovative and bold product ideas to ensure long-term, balanced growth in eBay's Vehicles business. You will be actively engaged in planning and advancing our product roadmap with a continuous focus on understanding and resolving customer problems.
As the Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the Vehicles Product that plays a key role in enabling growth for our categories portfolio at eBay. This includes collaborating with core engineering & build leads, business units, and multiple Product & Engineering teams from our category teams at eBay. In this individual contributor role, you'll drive progress on multiple product initiatives in a matrix organization. Most importantly, you should be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with a wide range of partners. What you will accomplish:
Lead the execution for a portfolio of products. Deliver on key strategic priorities and build a forward-looking plan to achieve our business goals.
Build a fast-paced culture in close partnership with Research, Build, Engineering, and Business leadership.
Work alongside various cross-domain product managers across the organization (Selling, Buying, Shipping, Payments etc.) to contribute to the development of the Vehicles team’s vision.
Collaborate with senior leaders across eBay’s product and business organizations. Align plans with partners in core product and technology teams. Also work with teams in marketing, operations, finance, and strategy.
Apply data and analytics to drive product decisions.
Communicate product progress and updates to collaborators.
Ensure product aligns with all applicable industry regulations.
Monitor and analyze user feedback to identify areas of improvement.
Work with designers and engineers to ensure a world-class user experience.
What you will bring:
3+ years of product management, strategy consulting or related experience.
Strong analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
Demonstrated experience in writing unambiguous and clear technical specifications.
Experience successfully leading multiple projects through the product life cycle from concept to delivery while meeting schedules and budgets.
Passionate advocate for users, with proven results in achieving superb user experience within tight constraints.
Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
C$110,400 - C$147,400Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
