The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with direct wealth management domain experience to own outcomes for a defined product area and support our ongoing SaaS transformation.
This position is being hired as an 18-month maternity leave coverage, supporting business continuity and product delivery during the leave period.
This role is for a product leader who understands how wealth management firms operate, including advisor workflows, account structures, regulatory constraints, and operational realities, and can translate that expertise into clear product strategy, priorities, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Outcomes
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for a defined wealth management domain.
- Define clear problem statements, value hypotheses, and success metrics aligned to company objectives.
- Make prioritization decisions balancing client value, regulatory constraints, business impact, and delivery capacity
- Wealth Management Domain Leadership
- Bring deep, practical understanding of wealth management workflows (e.g., advisor operations, account lifecycle, trading, compliance, reporting).
- Anticipate regulatory and operational implications of product decisions.
- Serve as a trusted domain expert for Engineering, Design, Sales, and Client Success.
- Customer & Market Insight
- Engage directly with wealth management firms, advisors, and internal stakeholders to validate problems and test solutions.
- Incorporate competitive and market insights specific to wealth technology.
- Translate customer needs into clear product direction and trade-offs.
- Roadmap & Investment Decisions
- Translate strategy into an outcome-oriented roadmap.
- Communicate roadmap priorities, trade-offs, and rationale with clarity and confidence.
- Evaluate investments using data, learning, and business cases.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Product Owners to translate outcomes into high-quality delivery scope.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Design, Client Success, Sales, and Operations.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for product direction within your domain.
- Delivery Partnership & Go/No-Go
- Remain accountable for outcomes through delivery and launch.
- Participate in go/no-go decisions, balancing quality, readiness, and client impact.
- Ensure releases are supported with appropriate enablement and success measurement.
- Measurement, Learning & AI
- Define and track success metrics to measure adoption, efficiency, and client impact.
- Use data and customer feedback to refine strategy and priorities.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, insight synthesis, and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities where AI can improve wealth management workflows or operational efficiency.

Formal Qualifications
- 5–8 years of Product Management experience in wealth management or closely related financial services domains.
- Hands-on experience with wealth management platforms, advisor tools, or dealer operations.
- Proven ownership of product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience operating in regulated environments with complex workflows and data.
- Strong understanding of modern product discovery and delivery practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Assets
- Experience with SaaS platform transformation in wealth or fintech.
- Familiarity with global regulatory environments.
- Experience integrating data, analytics, or AI into product decisions.
- Advanced degree in a technical or business field.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks.
The Work Environment
- Downtown Toronto HQ, with hybrid flexibility (in-office/remote). 3 days in office.
- Collaboration across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
- Occasional extended hours for time-sensitive initiatives or global team alignment.
