As a Product Management Senior Manager within Tempus Technologies, subsidiary of PNC, you will be based remotely.
The Product Manager Senior Manager is accountable for defining and delivering the strategic vision, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes for the Tempus portfolio. The role ensures that Tempus investments, priorities, and product decisions are aligned to organizational objectives and deliver quantifiable customer, operational, and business value.
This leader owns the product portfolio strategy, success metrics, and execution framework, ensuring that product investments address customer needs, close competitive gaps, improve operational efficiency, and create sustainable market differentiation. The role is responsible for evaluating market opportunities, customer requirements, competitive capabilities, and emerging technologies to ensure Tempus maintains a modern, scalable, and innovative product portfolio.
The position provides leadership and structure across the product management function, establishing product management standards, quality expectations, prioritization frameworks, and execution discipline. The role leads and develops a team of Product Owners, ensuring consistent product practices, accountability, and high-quality outcomes across all initiatives.
A key responsibility of this role is identifying and driving opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence to improve customer experiences, automate operational processes, enhance decision-making, increase productivity, and create competitive differentiation across the Tempus portfolio. The leader ensures AI capabilities are evaluated and incorporated where they deliver measurable customer and business value.
Working closely with customers, executives, technology teams, operations, sales, implementation, and other stakeholders, this role drives alignment between strategic objectives and product execution while ensuring customer needs are represented, prioritized, and delivered through quarterly planning and roadmap execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and communicate the product portfolio vision, strategy, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Establish portfolio priorities that align with company objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Owners.
• Establish and govern product management standards, operating models, and quality expectations.
• Drive quarterly planning, prioritization, and execution across the portfolio.
• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure customer, business, and operational needs are understood and addressed.
• Identify competitive gaps, customer pain points, and market opportunities and translate them into product investments.
• Evaluate and incorporate AI-driven capabilities that improve customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and portfolio differentiation.

Through strong stakeholder engagement, disciplined product governance, effective management of Product Owners, and strategic adoption of AI capabilities, this leader enables Tempus to accelerate innovation, improve execution predictability, enhance customer outcomes, and strengthen its competitive position in the market.
This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. - Responsible for the end-to-end business and financial results for multiple product sets utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience through the leadership of teams managing new and existing products or experiences.
- Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver product to customers through all applicable channels. Presents initiatives to gain senior management buy-in. Manages progress to ensure initiatives are completed on time, within budget and meet strategic goals.
- Influences product and customer experience trends by monitoring competitors or peer organizations to stay abreact of emerging product and technology trends in the industry. Leads teams responsible for translating concepts or designs into new or improved products, product lines or experiences and recognizes, anticipates and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise.
- Evaluates potential product or experience development projects for feasibility and value. Ensures successful outcomes from key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery and other internal service partners. Participates in client-facing and external stakeholder activities throughout the product or experience lifecycle. Adheres to company-defined risk appetite as part of the first line of defense. Serves as point of review and sign off for risk management, compliance and audit requirements, as needed.
- Manages, motivates and develops one or multiple product lines and managers as well as the performance evaluation process of the Product Development Management team and key contributors. Identifies talent gaps in team and staffs appropriately.
