About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities, overseeing complex multi-phase projects across multiple teams and platforms from concept to implementation
  • Build features across multiple stacks, potentially including Backend, Frontend, and Mobile
  • Optimize web applications for peak performance and scalability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fast, and scalable code
  • Mentor fellow engineers on both technical and product judgement

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficient in at least one of Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
  • Comfortable in agentic coding tools
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and frameworks/libraries like React, Next.js, etc.
  • Experience driving product improvements end to end, including deciding what problems are worth solving and how to solve them
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • A love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems

 Technologies we use and teach:

  • Kotlin, Java, Javascript
