What you will do:

Lead product design initiatives: Partner across the org to align UX goals with overall business strategy and contribute to product development. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and clinical teams to develop product requirements.

Communication: Translate product goals and requirements into clearly actionable specifications, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design solutions effectively.

Negotiation: Negotiate with product and engineering teams to find the right balance of features, business needs, and technical feasibility.

Be a conduit for the voice of the customer and end-user: Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, and data-driven design improvements to enhance product usability.
What you will bring:
-
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a project lead or senior role.

Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or other UX design and prototyping tools.

Strong expertise in user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
-
Experience in conducting and interpreting user research and data analytics.
-
Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-
Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and guide design teams.
-
Experience with medical device development processes is a huge plus.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.

Proactive, self-starter with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take initiative in a dynamic startup environment.

Great taste and phenomenal people skills with the ability to interview and suss out what people need versus what they think they need.
