We are looking for a talented Product Designer to help create intuitive and impactful product experiences across our customers' journey with Bally Sports Live. Product designers at Bally's Media play a central role in the product development process, partnering with Product Management and Engineering to solve customer problems in an agile environment.

You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from early discovery and user testing through to tweaking pixels right before launch. You bring a craft-focused eye, balancing strategic user goals with strong visual taste. Bally Sports Live competes for attention in living rooms and on phones against the most polished consumer products in the world, and our customers hold us to that standard.

You are passionate about working with customers and building empathy with users, and about collaborating with cross-functional teammates to craft engaging and intuitive experiences across TV, mobile, and web. You'll work alongside an experienced design lead who sets direction and holds the craft bar, with real ownership of your own surfaces from day one. This role is built to grow, and we're looking for someone ready to take on more scope over time. Your success will be measured by the experiences that your team ships and the outcomes they deliver for customers and the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner across the product team. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to design and ship solutions that are elegant, practical, and a pleasure to use.
  • Design for everyone, on every screen. Living-room TV, mobile, and web each reach a wide range of ages, devices, and technical comfort, and each context has its own rules.
  • Learn directly from users. Run research, tests, and experiments to understand real motivations, goals, and pain points, and lead the design sprints and discovery sessions that turn what you learn into direction.
  • Follow the data. Dig into product analytics, customer support contacts, and social feedback to see how the product is really used, and where the next opportunities are.
  • Own problems end to end. Take a loosely defined problem and drive it to a shipped solution: explore multiple directions, push past the obvious one, weigh the tradeoffs, and make the call.
  • Use AI to move faster. Augment your workflow so you can explore more directions, prototype quicker, and spend more of your time on judgment and craft.
  • Hold the craft bar. Intuitive experiences, premium visual quality, and meticulous attention to detail, on every surface.
  • See it through to ship. Hand off UX specs, assets, and prototypes to engineering, and QA the builds from a design perspective.
  • Make your thinking visible. Present your work to stakeholders, showing the reasoning behind the decisions and how the design serves product goals.
  • Bring a point of view. Go beyond designing features, have an opinion on where the product should go next, and advocate for the user in those conversations.

Qualifications Experience Preferred 3+ years in consumer product design: you’ve shipped features and products at consumer-focused companies and can point to what reached real users. Multi-platform depth: deep experience designing across mobile apps and web; prior experience with video products on connected TV devices (e.g. Roku, Amazon Fire TV) is a plus. A portfolio that tells the full story: excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving, with the story behind each project, how you framed the problem, what you shipped, and what happened after it launched. Command of the fundamentals: excellent visual design skills, with equal command of information architecture and interaction design. Fast with the tools: proficiency in design tools and prototyping; experience prototyping with AI (Claude Code or similar) is a strong plus. Hands-on research experience: you’ve conducted user testing and research yourself, and turned the findings into decisions the team acted on. You know what good looks like: you're fluent in what's happening across consumer products right now, and willing to push past familiar patterns when there's a better answer. Comfort with ambiguity: you can work through a loosely defined brief, propose a clear path forward, and make sound calls independently without needing every decision made for you. Comfortable in a Lean/Agile environment. A fast learner who seeks feedback: you actively invite critique and use it to sharpen both the work and your own craft. Storytelling, not just presenting: you can make the case for a design decision in a way that brings your team and partners along. Passion for the space: genuine interest in streaming, sports, and entertainment. Startup instincts: prior experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment is highly desirable.
