Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Designer III to join our design team. The main responsibility of this role will be helping shape the future of our new payment applications. The journey will focus on auditing what is already in place, deep competitive research, and then laying out a roadmap for successful adoption across all our payment platforms. This is a collaborative role in which you will work with teams across the organization including Product, Marketing, and Technology. Other responsibilities include: Contributing to our design system and UXR best practices.

Contract Term: 12months.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office in a hybrid work model

Reporting Relationship: You will report to You will report to the Manager, Product Design.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to shape the future of our products.

  • Collaborate with Developers to understand any associated technical requirements and ensure successful development.

  • Collaborate with other Product Designers to understand user needs.

  • Dive into UX research to uncover user needs, setup merchant feedback loops

  • Participate in QA and UAT to highlight any design flaws before final product development.

  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design.

  • Work within project schedules and prioritizing.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Product/UX design

  • Familiarity with applying and contributing to enterprise design systems

  • Agile experience and willingness to experiment to evolve the design process

  • Portfolio of design projects

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 level AA at minimum)

  • Motivated to improve and lead creative workflows and processes for the team

  • Proficient in Figma

  • Experience in FinTech, e-commerce, payments

  • Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
