About the Role

​​As a Product Designer, Growth,  you’ll be responsible for crafting products that attract new users to GlossGenius, and provide them with an optimal initial experience with our tools. Your work will include designing solutions that enhance key growth-related user experiences, such as onboarding or early journey activations, as well as finding new opportunities and products for the company. Our ideal candidate will be able to craft a diverse set of creative solutions to complex product design problems by working with our product, engineering, and product analytics team in the Growth area.

What You’ll Do

  • Design experience to help our users have an excellent initial experience with GlossGenius
  • Work with the Growth team on customer acquisition, conversion and retention experiences
  • Own the end-to-end process for solving UX/UI design problems: strategy, vision, ideate, conceptualize, test, and refine
  • Construct user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, analysts, customer success managers, and marketers to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for GlossGenius' customers
  • Take initiative in thinking of new ways our users can interact with GlossGenius

What We’re Looking For 

  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Design / UX /UI role preferably in a product-driven company
  • A first experience working with a Growth Product Team is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with sketching, wireframes, and prototyping for product experiences
  • You have experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills to effectively communicate design concepts and strategies
  • You have an analytical and data-driven approach 
  • Passion for empowering small business owners to be successful; possess a high level of empathy our customers and a strong desire to deeply understand their needs
  • Experience navigating ambiguous high-growth, fast-paced product-driven environments

The starting base salary for this role in New York and California is between $120,000-$145,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
