About the role:

We seek driven UX interns to help shape the future of Cresta’s human + AI agents platform, which powers AI-powered business workflows and automations for contact center operators. Your responsibilities will include designing the end-user experiences and the tools and workflows that enable these experiences.

As a product design intern at Cresta, you are at the forefront of a technological breakthrough with LLM and Generative AI. This unique position allows you to transform how people interact with AI meaningfully. With the help of a design supervisor, you will get to work on the end-to-end UX process, including product design, user research, and visual design elements, to create world-class experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • You’ll generate novel UX ideas for Conversation Intelligence and AI Agents, considering the needs of various user personas.
  • You'll analyze user and business challenges, propose feasible solutions, and collaborate with engineers to bring designs to life.
  • You'll support user research, including usability testing, competitive analysis, customer interviews, behavioral insights, and metrics analysis to inform designs.
  • You will prototype quickly (Figma, Cursor, Claude, Voice API, etc.) to explore different UI paradigms
  • You’ll collaborate closely with Engineers, PMs, ML experts, Customer Success, and Sales teams across the organization.
  • You’ll present and communicate concepts to supervisors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, with a strong academic track record
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design thinking, polished UI craftsmanship, and innovative interaction paradigms, including academic or personal projects
  • Proficiency in prototyping: skilled at using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, V0, or the latest AI tools to build realistic prototypes.
  • Experienced in user-centered design, with practical expertise across key UX disciplines, including interaction design, prototyping, visual design, and user research.
  • Curious, adaptable, and a quick learner who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Perks & Benefits:
  • $30-$50 per hour subject to taxes
  • Lunch and Dinner can be expensed (up to $25 each) while working in the office.
  • PT0: 4 days

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable. We are actively hiring for this role in the US and Canada. Your recruiter can provide further details.

This posting will be used to fill a newly-created role.

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Cresta recruiting email communications will always come from the @cresta.ai domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Cresta via other sources should be ignored. If you are uncertain whether you have been contacted by an official Cresta employee, reach out to [email protected]
