Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Analyst to join our team. As a Product Analyst, you will work in collaboration with the Product Owner in utilizing market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and epics, with clearly defined acceptance criteria for their team. The Product Analyst (PA) is the team's source for business logic, requirements, analysis, testing features once ready etc.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Product Analyst

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

The Product Analyst bridges the Product vision and design with a clear outline of the product details, behaviors and case scenarios. You will work with the Product Manager and UX/UI Designer to elicit and analyze design and requirements of various Products by completing case scenarios, user needs/experience analysis, work flows, and design outline. Their experience with both business and technical functions will support the successful execution of this role.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Bridge Product requirements and design by analyzing technical/operational requirements; construct workflows charts and diagrams; analyze system capabilities and translating them into technical and WEB /UX design solutions.
  • Improve user experience by studying current practices through the creation of current/future state flows and designing modifications based on different case scenarios.
  • Document systems requirements and technical options for both business/customer and technical audience.
  • Lead design reviews and presentations to communicate systems designs and to validate proposed solutions.
  • Support QA & UAT testing where required.
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; recommend improved procedures.
  • Interpret 3rd party, Card networks, Compliance etc. specifications and translate into product requirements
  • Support product projects progress by tracking releases, engaging in discussions with key product and technical stakeholders and recommending actions in support of Product Manager's vision.
  • Prepare product/technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Product, UX/UI Designers, Technology and other business teams to ensure efficiencies and/or work together to close gaps.
  • Support the product lifecycle and continue to monitor and create efficiencies within product and across organization.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor' degree in IT/Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of related experience as a business systems analyst
  • At least 2 years of proven professional experience with web-based applications and UX design a MUST
  • Familiarity with software development and project management lifecycle practices
