Are you a process-oriented professional who thrives on making complex systems run like clockwork? As a Procurement Support Specialist, you will be the backbone of our procurement enabling services. You will bridge the gap between day-to-day operational excellence and long-term strategic improvement.

You will bring general procurement expertise to ensure the effective delivery of core services, drive automation, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance our functional effectiveness. The Opportunity

Vendor Data & Master Data Management

  • Orchestrate Onboarding: Partner with the Shared Services team to successfully onboard and create vendor IDs within our Master Data Global System (MDGS).

  • Data Integrity: Oversee the accuracy of vendor information to ensure seamless contract execution, fulfillment of Legal and Compliance obligations, and timely payment processing.

Clinical Contract Management & Operations

  • Lifecycle Support: Manage the submission of executed clinical contracts into the procurement system to ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are created accurately and in a timely manner to support clinical operations.

Systems Support & Enablement

  • Local Subject Matter Expert: Act as the "go-to" guide for local users of the global procurement system, providing troubleshooting and hands-on training.

  • Process Documentation: Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks, ensuring they remain aligned with Global compliance policies.

Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Enablement Strategy: Proactively identify and drive strategies that increase procurement enablement’s overall effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, and internal Procurement teams to gather feedback and deploy functional solutions that improve the customer buying experience.

Who you are:

  • You possess a minimum 3-year Bachelor degree in business or finance or related area of study. CSCMP or other procurement designation desirable

  • A solid understanding of procurement systems, lifecycle processes, and compliance-heavy environments.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Experience in contract review and understanding

  • A genuine excitement for learning through experience and adapting to evolving responsibilities.

  • Strong data analysis and root cause analysis skills; you don't just see a problem, you find the source.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; you take pride in "getting it right the first time."

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional alignment.

  • Stellar organization and prioritization skills with the ability to pivot as business demands change.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 89,256.00 and 117,148.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
