As our studio continues to expand its global presence, we are looking for an experienced and resourceful Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle of FF&E—from budget development to final installation—ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and oversee procurement strategies across multiple high-end hospitality and residential projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets
• Develop and manage detailed FF&E budgets, forecasts, and procurement schedules in collaboration with design and finance teams
• Manage vendor relationships: evaluate, negotiate, and maintain long-term partnerships with global suppliers and manufacturers
• Create and issue RFQs and RFPs, analyze bids and tenders for pricing, quality, lead times, and logistics
• Negotiate trade discounts, terms, and conditions, ensuring optimal value for Studio Munge and its clients
• Execute purchasing documentation—purchase orders, proformas, invoices, warranties—ensuring accuracy and compliance with project and company standards
• Coordinate logistics and freight for global shipping, customs clearance, deliveries, and installations
• Coordinate approvals of product samples, strike-offs, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Implement and manage deficiency protocols: proactively handle replacements, repairs, or corrections in collaboration with the FF&E and design teams
• Monitor procurement schedules and critical paths, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery
• Support value engineering efforts without compromising design intent
• Lead project close-out documentation and ensure smooth handover of procurement records and asset inventories
QUALIFICATIONS
• Legally entitled to work in Canada (Citizenship, PR, or valid work permit)
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in fields such as Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in FF&E procurement, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial capacity, preferably within the luxury FFE hospitality sector
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, logistics, and budgeting
• Deep understanding of global FF&E sourcing, import/export regulations, and customs documentation
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong problem-solving mindset
• Proficient in scheduling, tracking tools, and procurement software (e.g., Fohlio)
• Working knowledge of Mandarin or other international languages is a strong asset
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Purchasing Software (Fohlio Specification Program preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator) – preferred
