• Reporting into the General Manager.

• In a secondary line of responsibility the PO, Planning & Supply Chain has a dotted reporting line to the Regional OP&C Director for all operations planning activities.

• Leading the Planning & Supply Chain department with overall financial, operational and compliance accountability including Ordering, Warehouse & Goods Receiving, IDS, Material Management, and Labour Forecasting & Planning.

Key Tasks:

1. Leads, gives strategic directions and drives continuous improvement of the Planning & Supply Chain department.

2. Directs and monitors all P&SC activities to maximize the use of the organization’s resources.

3. Overall accountability for the department including recruitment, training and development, and performance management.

4. Ensures legal/compliance requirements across health and safety, food safety, and security.

5. Accountable for budget, KPI’s targets and internal SLA’s.

6. Collaborates closely with other operational areas and support functions of the unit as well as the regional OP&C function.

Education:

•Bachelors’ degree in a relevant subject or business management

•Desirable specialization in logistics and/or supply chain management

Work experience:

•Experience of at least 3 years in managing multidisciplinary teams

•Experience in major change management projects

•Experience of working in a Food Hygiene/Health & Safety/High Security environment preferred.

•Training in Green Belt and Lean Manufacturing is desired
