About the role
The Principal Product Designer at AgelessRx plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital experience. You’ll lead the design of seamless post-purchase journeys and architect a robust, scalable design system that brings our mission to life, delivering transformative healthcare treatments with clarity and care. Working closely with product and engineering, you’ll design thoughtful, engaging experiences that connect health data, clinical expertise, and personalized interventions into a cohesive and empowering user experience. Your work will change public perception of Ageless, shifting it from an online pharmacy to an online longevity platform providing proactive health care and changing opinions on what health care can be.
What you'll do
- Create post-purchase experiences that feel as smooth as they look, turning every new service launch into an intuitive, unforgettable experience.
- From the first sketch to the final pixel, you’ll lead the full experience definition journey. From defining flows, shaping interactions, and making sure every moment feels effortless and intentional.
- Bringing clarity to complex topics that are fuzzy. Through quick prototyping, thoughtful research, and good instincts, you turn ambiguity into aha moments.
- Turning vague ideas into bold, user-centered experiences that people actually love using.
- Push the boundaries of what great UI can be. Develop forward thinking concepts that set a new bar for design excellence while making our brand feel fresh, modern, and unmistakably AgelessRx.
- Define and enforce design guidelines, and lead rewriting the playbook when something bolder and better comes along.
- Inspire and elevate the design team. Develop workshops, lead critiques, and create a culture of relentless creativity and growth.
- Identify and hire high-caliber design talent to continually raise the bar for talent.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Medical to design a longevity platform that helps 10,000+ patients make ongoing proactive health decisions.
- Asking “why not?” as often as “why?”. Bringing fresh, unexpected thinking that will set our experience apart from every other digital health app.
- Craft stunning interfaces that not only look incredible but keep the users coming back for more.
- Transform complex data into captivating stories through animations, micro-interactions, and eye-catching visuals that guide users through content without missing a beat.
- Infuse life into every interaction. From progress trackers to micro-success animations, use motion design to make every user feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
- Architect and evolve AgelessRx’s comprehensive design system, ensuring it flows effortlessly across products, platforms, and marketing touchpoints.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of proven experience leading UI design initiatives for digital products, ideally in SaaS, eCommerce, or telehealth sectors with a strong portfolio showcasing visually engaging and impactful digital experiences.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a mastery of UI design, including complex interfaces, advanced visual systems, and data-driven design projects.
- Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing and executing visually striking, user-centric interfaces that drive engagement and evoke positive emotional responses. Showcase 3-5 projects with strong user delight examples.
- Proven ability to translate complex data sets into visually compelling and easily digestible graphics, dashboards, and interactive components.
- Proven ability to design and implement interactive components, transitions, and animations that create a sense of flow, reduce cognitive load, drive engagement, reinforce brand identity, and foster a memorable user experience.
- Proven experience identifying and hiring excellent design talent and identifying up-and-coming talent.
- A personal passion for improving longevity and/or the healthcare system, providing open-minded preventive care for millions of Americans.
- Wisdom from taking concepts from whiteboard brainstorms to polished launch moments and know how to bring structure to chaos without losing the creative spark.
- Experience translating loose ideas, early research, or market signals into real products that shipped and scaled.
- Comfort in asking the right questions, testing fast, and helping teams figure out, “What this should even be.”
- Expertise in design systems architecture, with experience in building and scaling comprehensive component libraries.
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable UI systems that balance brand consistency with opportunities for delightful surprises, ensuring that playful elements align with overall brand voice and user context.
- Someone who thrives working in highly complex spaces and bringing simple and intuitive solutions to life to improve user comprehension.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence employees and present design strategies effectively.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional design initiatives.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, and emerging design tools, with a focus on interactive prototypes and responsive design.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to ensure feasibility and alignment with engineering.
- Passion for mentoring and elevating design talent, fostering a culture of feedback, growth, psychological safety and design excellence.
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at AgelessRx (for full-time employees). Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity.
