Job summary

The Principal Transformation (TX) Consultant is a senior advisory leader responsible for helping clients define, structure, mobilize, and realize complex business and technology transformations. The role partners with senior business and technology leaders to translate strategic ambition into an executable transformation agenda—including target outcomes, investment priorities, transformation roadmaps, operating models, governance, organizational readiness, and value realization measures.

Operating at the intersection of strategy, portfolio, program, and project management (3PM), organizational change management (OCM), operating-model design, technology-enabled transformation, and value realization, the Principal Consultant brings practical technology and AI fluency to support informed decisions without serving as a technical architect or engineering specialist.

What you'll be working on

Transformation strategy, operating model, and value
    • Assess current-state capabilities and define transformation strategies, target operating models, business cases, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

    • Evaluate options and recommend clear choices based on value, complexity, risk, dependencies, investment, and time to value.

    • Maintain traceability from strategy through delivery, adoption, and realized value; identify reprioritization and recovery needs early.

    • 3PM and transformation governance advisory
      • Design and improve portfolio and program intake, prioritization, planning, funding, governance, and performance management.

      • Facilitate portfolio decisions using strategic alignment, value, cost, risk, dependencies, and available capacity.

      • Define decision rights, governance models, performance measures, and operating cadences.

      • Identify systemic execution barriers and recommend practical improvements to portfolio and transformation performance.

      • Organizational change management and adoption
        • Assess change impacts, stakeholder needs, leadership alignment, organizational readiness, and capacity for change.

        • Define integrated OCM strategies covering sponsorship, communications, capability building, adoption, reinforcement, and measurable readiness.

        • Engage change-management specialists when required and ensure adoption considerations are embedded in transformation design.

        • Executive, stakeholder, and AI-enabled advisory
          • Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, and governance forums.

          • Translate complex issues into decision-ready narratives and pre-wire key trade-offs with senior stakeholders.

          • Build trusted-advisor relationships across business and technology functions while navigating competing priorities toward enterprise outcomes.

          • Maintain practical AI fluency and advise clients on relevant use cases and implications for operating model, workforce, governance, risk, and adoption.

          • Commercial, practice, and people leadership
            • Shape pursuits and advisory propositions, including problem framing, approaches, outcomes, assumptions, risks, and expansion opportunities.

            • Monitor scope, engagement economics, and changing client expectations; surface commercial impacts early.

            • Coach consultants and strengthen the Transformation practice through quality reviews, reusable methods, offerings, intellectual property, thought leadership, and talent development.

Do you have what it takes to be our new Principal Transformation (TX) Consultant?

    • Proven leadership of complex business or technology transformations from strategy through execution, adoption, and value realization.

    • Strong consulting capabilities in structured problem solving, analysis, business cases, roadmaps, workshops, executive storytelling, and recommendations.
