Position Overview:

Join Zynga's Mobile Game Tech division and have a remarkable impact on all the company's games! Are you passionate about full stack development and crafting seamless websites with scalable backends? This role is in our well-established Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, which maintains high-value services and tools to ensure Zynga's global compliance.

What You'll Do:

  • Write software and deploy it to cloud infrastructure, strictly following standard practices for code quality, documentation, testing, security, and automated deployments.
  • Propose and successfully implement new fullstack software architecture designs.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and customers to develop and rollout new features effectively.
  • Lead and mentor the team, ensuring that standard methodologies are followed and ambitious goals are met.
  • Evaluate and determine the best technologies and frameworks to be used in our projects.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of world-class infrastructure solutions for our services and tools.
  • Do quality Code reviews and ensure the services and releases stay stable and follow best practices

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience leading projects from inception to completion, breaking work into logical components, and delivering results as projected.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with software programming using Golang.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience with software programming using React.
  • Experience with SQL tables and SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis and Elasticsearch.
  • Practical knowledge of async programming patterns and queueing and pub/sub systems.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and continuous integration testing.
  • A history of serving as a mentor to other engineers.

Bonus Points:

  • Preferred stack includes React, Golang, and Kubernetes.
