Position Overview

The privacy team is responsible for implementing and maintaining a world class privacy program, supporting our products, engineering and operations work to deliver a respected and trusted experience to the Autodesk community as well as maintaining compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

This role involves operating and driving results in a highly matrixed environment.  It involves both technical projects as well as development of end-to-end processes and controls.  Immediate focus will be on furthering the maturity of privacy management capabilities and operationalizing value-added privacy capabilities into the enterprise. 

This role can be based in Canada, Ireland or Poland, and reports to the Senior Manager, privacy who is based in Portland.

                                                                                      

Responsibilities

Governance, risk, and compliance:

  • Identify, document, and implement privacy controls

  • Perform privacy risk assessments (PIAs) and data protection risk assessments (DPIAs)

  • Identify control improvement opportunities

  • Advise teams on control design and implementation

  • Provide contributions to the overall global privacy strategy, program design, implementation plan

  • Ensure compliance and operational risks are identified, escalated to the appropriate team and take appropriate steps to remediate risk

Expertise:

  • Keep up with cutting-edge privacy innovations, technologies, approaches, and techniques that can potentially be applied to Autodesk

  • Experience in implementing guidelines & policies and with training & awareness raising sessions

  • Build relationships and act as a evangelizer of Autodesk’s privacy principles

  • Stay abreast of privacy regulations worldwide

Project Management:

  • Experience with implementation of privacy and data protection projects

  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks

  • Communicate status & timelines for cross-functional team and executive understanding

  • Define and measure success metrics

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a deep respect and passion for protecting people’s data privacy

  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance to create structures and develop operational concepts

  • Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in a complex technological ecosystem

  • Knowledge of global data privacy legislations, industry practice and how they impact business operations and product design, could identify the potential impact/risk to business according to external regulations change

  • Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical skills, “and the ability to provide solution-focused goals to stakeholders

  • Problem identification, quantification, root cause analysis, and solving

  • Adaptability and flexibility

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills (verbal/presentation/written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in a combination of privacy management, risk management, and project management

  • Experience in information security, data governance, privacy, and GRC

  • Consulting experience a plus

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.  Masters a plus

  • Privacy or security certifications (e.g., CISA, CIPP, CIPM, CISM)

Responsabilités

Gouvernance, risque et conformité :

  • Identifier, documenter et mettre en œuvre des contrôles de confidentialité

  • Effectuer des évaluations des risques liés à la protection de la vie privée (PIA) et des évaluations des risques liés à la protection des données (DPIA)

  • Identifier les opportunités d'amélioration des contrôles

  • Conseiller les équipes sur la conception et la mise en œuvre des contrôles

  • Contribuer à la stratégie globale en matière de protection de la vie privée, à la conception du programme et au plan de mise en œuvre

  • Veiller à ce que les risques opérationnels et de conformité soient identifiés, transmis à l'équipe appropriée et prendre les mesures adéquates pour y remédier

Expertise :

  • Vous vous tenez au courant des innovations, des technologies, des approches et des techniques de pointe en matière de protection de la vie privée qui peuvent potentiellement être appliquées à Autodesk

  • Expérience dans la mise en œuvre de lignes directrices et de politiques, ainsi que dans les sessions de formation et de sensibilisation

  • Établir des relations et agir en tant qu'évangélisateur des principes de protection de la vie privée d'Autodesk

  • Se tenir au courant des réglementations en matière de protection de la vie privée dans le monde entier

Gestion de projet :

  • Expérience de la mise en œuvre de projets de protection des données et de la vie privée

Qualifications minimales

  • Vous avez un profond respect et une grande passion pour la protection de la vie privée des personnes

  • Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante avec peu de conseils pour créer des structures et développer des concepts opérationnels

  • Connaissance et expérience de la mise en œuvre des principes de protection de la vie privée dans un écosystème technologique complexe

  • Connaissance des législations mondiales en matière de confidentialité des données, des pratiques de l'industrie et de leur impact sur les opérations commerciales et la conception des produits, et capacité à identifier l'impact/le risque potentiel pour l'entreprise en fonction de l'évolution des réglementations externes

  • Solide leadership interfonctionnel, compétences analytiques et capacité à fournir des objectifs axés sur les solutions aux parties prenantes

  • Identification, quantification, analyse des causes profondes et résolution des problèmes

  • Capacité d'adaptation et flexibilité

  • Excellentes compétences en matière d'organisation, de communication et de relations interpersonnelles (verbales/présentation/écrites)

Qualifications souhaitées

  • 7 à 10 ans d'expérience dans une combinaison de gestion de la vie privée, de gestion des risques et de gestion de projet

  • Expérience en matière de sécurité de l'information, de gouvernance des données, de protection de la vie privée et de GRC

  • Une expérience dans le domaine du conseil est un plus

  • Formation : Licence. Master un plus

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $119,600 and $164,450. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
