The Principal Platform Engineer will design and implement AI platforms, including distributed systems and orchestration frameworks, mentor engineers, and define best practices for LLM integration.

We’re growing our engineering team and hiring AI Platform Engineers to build next-generation AI systems across clients. This includes developing GenAI platforms, enabling agent-based architectures, and designing scalable orchestration and integration layers for enterprise AI.
These roles span both current initiatives and pipeline hiring, with a focus on building secure, scalable, and production-ready AI platforms.
What does success look like in this role?
- Define architecture for GenAI and agent-based platforms
- Build orchestration frameworks for agents, tools, and workflows
- Design scalable APIs and platform abstractions for AI systems
- Implement distributed systems using Kubernetes and cloud-native patterns
- Establish observability, evaluation, and monitoring frameworks
- Define best practices for LLM integration, prompt management, and workflows
- Mentor engineers and lead technical direction

Compensation & hiring process
We are recruiting for a future opportunity. The salary range for this role is $120,000–$170,000 CAD, reflecting expected base pay. Total compensation may also include additional pay such as bonuses or incentives, depending on the position, and final offers are based on experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our hiring process we may use technology, including AI-based tools, to help summarize and assess applications; these tools assist our team and do not replace human review or decision-making.
