This role is a current vacancy, and we are actively seeking a candidate to join the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a cross-platform engineering squad shipping experiences across iOS, Android, Web, and CTV using Swift, Kotlin, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and BrightScript.

  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver low-latency video streaming and interactive gaming experiences that perform under pressure.

  • Design and evolve a scalable client-side architecture that can handle traffic spikes, big moments, and multi-platform delivery.

  • Ensure our apps stay fast, accessible, and rock-solid across every device fans use to tune in.

  • Partner with DevOps and Backend teams to integrate APIs, leverage AWS services, and keep CI/CD pipelines running smoothly.

  • Set the standard through code reviews, technical leadership, and mentorship, building a culture of ownership and craftsmanship.

Qualifications Experience Preferred 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience shipping high-scale consumer apps, ideally with video streaming in the mix. Deep technical chops in one or more of the following: Mobile: Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android) Web: JavaScript, Next.js, HTML, CSS Connected TV: BrightScript A genuine passion for sports, streaming tech, gaming, and digital media- you understand what keeps users engaged. Excellent experience working with AWS services including API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, and EKS. Comfort building modular, event-driven, API-driven architectures, especially for media-heavy platforms. Solid understanding of video streaming fundamentals: playback, buffering, delivery, and performance tuning. Experience working in Agile environments, translating product vision into executable engineering plays. Proven ability to optimize performance and SEO for high-traffic platforms, with a solid grasp of Core Web Vitals.
