Here’s the impact we’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

Our firm seeks to hire a Principal to join our Compensation Consulting Team. We are looking for a highly experienced business advisor that is capable of working with senior leaders in client organizations across a broad range of offerings. The Principal will work closely with colleagues in leading and managing complex client relationships.

Typical client projects include developing comparator groups for benchmarking compensation levels and program design attributes to market, developing short- and long-term incentive plans, gauging the alignment of pay and company performance, studying market trends and monitoring changes in legislation. Principals may assist or lead thought leadership research projects or publications, take part in business development opportunities, and can contribute internally on various firm-wide initiatives. 

What you’ll do

  • Develop recurring business through effective client relationship building, account management and collaborative working with colleagues

  • Lead proposal writing and shaping of opportunities for medium sized/complex clients

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects while ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management and good communication/collaboration between colleagues

  • Manage client expectations and deliver high quality work that exceeds client expectations

  • Managing junior staff members on compensation consulting projects, including peer review and finalizing of project deliverables

  • Contribute to thought leadership/research and speaking on National platforms to enhance and extend the TELUS Health brand

  • Serving as a mentor and actively supporting the development of junior staff members

You have…

  • Bachelor degree in Administration, Finance, Business, Accounting or an equivalent training in any related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant consulting experience, or a combination of consulting and in-house experience with consulting as the majority

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English with excellent oral and written communication skills (Quebec candidates only)

Available Locations…

  • Three positions available across the following regions: Quebec, Ontario, and Western Canada

Salary Range:  $135,000.00 - $170,000.00

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location. Additionally, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
