Inside the Role

The Pricing & Sales Support Manager - Canada is a key contributor to the commercial strategy for the Canadian market within our financial services organization and is responsible for leading the development and execution of pricing strategies, enablement tools, limited incentive programs, and
broader RevOps initiatives that drive revenue growth, operational effectiveness, and field readiness across Canada. This role is responsible for developing and executing competitive, margin‑optimized pricing strategies and supporting the Canadian sales organization with tools, insights, and targeted programs that enhance performance. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of Canadian customer segments, pricing sensitivities, and regulatory expectations. Beyond pricing, the role provides critical support across Revenue Operations—driving process improvements, contributing to strategic initiatives, and ensuring that all pricing and sales support activities are data‑driven and aligned with the unique dynamics of the Canadian market. The manager also supports planning inputs and OPEX tracking in collaboration with Finance to ensure financial discipline and alignment with commercial priorities. This is a people leader role, with accountability for performance, development, and day‑to‑day prioritization. This position reports to the Manager of Revenue Operations NA.

What You Drive at DTFS

Lead Canadian Pricing Strategy & Execution (35%):

  • Develop and manage pricing strategies across Canadian customer segments, including RORAC analysis.

  • Monitor competitive activity, economic trends, and customer behavior to refine pricing approaches.

  • Partner with Pricing Controlling, Risk, and Product to ensure profitability, governance compliance, and sound financial structures.

  • Prepare materials for the monthly Pricing Committee, document outcomes, and track follow‑ups.

  • Use win/loss and deal outcome insights to guide pricing recommendations and improvements.

Sales Program Design & Limited Incentive Support (15%):

  • Create and manage promotional campaigns, product bundles, and pricing incentives tailored to the Canadian market.

  • Align campaigns with regional sales goals and seasonal business cycles.

  • Coordinate with Marketing and Sales for effective rollout and field enablement.

  • Measure program ROI and make data-driven improvements.

Support Revenue Operations Projects & Strategic Initiatives (15%):

  • Contribute to RevOps initiatives including process improvements, tool enhancements, pricing system updates, and analytics modernization.

  • Support requirements gathering, testing, rollout, and adoption for systems or workflows that impact pricing or sales support.

  • Lead cross‑functional workstreams and ensure alignment across Sales, Finance, Product, Risk, Marketing, and RevOps.

  • Represent Canadian needs in North American and global pricing and RevOps forums.

  • Ensure Canadian priorities are reflected in broader operational and commercial strategies.

Enable Canadian Sales Teams, Dealers, and Customers with Tools and Support (15%):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pricing and sales support inquiries from field teams and dealer partners.

  • Build and maintain pricing guides, program summaries, customer/dealer playbooks, and other enablement materials.

  • Deliver training sessions and updates to ensure pricing tools, programs, and processes are understood and adopted.

  • Support escalated or complex deal structures and provide insights from the field to improve processes and pricing strategies.

Planning Support & OPEX Tracking (10%):

  • Support Canadian planning inputs including revenue targets, pricing assumptions, and volume forecasting.

  • Partner with Finance on OPEX tracking, including monthly and quarterly budget reviews.

  • Monitor actuals vs. budget for commercial spend and surface variances or risks.

  • Provide insights to support resource allocation, financial discipline, and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Ensure planning assumptions and financial inputs align with pricing strategy and market dynamics.

People Leadership & Team Development (10%):

  • Provide direct leadership to team member, including setting goals, priorities, and clear expectations.

  • Deliver continuous coaching, developmental feedback, and support skill-building aligned with role expectations.

  • Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and ensure accountability to objectives.

  • Foster a positive, transparent, and high‑performance team environment rooted in collaboration and ownership.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, sales operations, or sales support within the Canadian financial services industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools

  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional project management skills

  • Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable commercial insights and to develop and scale go-to-market playbooks

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Master's degree

  • Strong understanding of Canadian pricing models, dealer/distributor incentive structures, and regulatory considerations.
