Power BI Specialist

Job Description

Are you passionate about data analysis and have expertise in Power BI? iA Financial Group is seeking a Power BI Specialist to join the Global Project Management Office (GPMO) team.

Your mandate will be to provide quality support across the organization by ensuring governance, service delivery, maintenance and optimization of the Microsoft Power BI platform, as well as creating solutions to visualize and analyze organizational project data.

Responsibilities

• Create mockups and dashboards to visualize data and KPIs

• Collaborate with data analysts and business relationship specialists to adapt visuals to organizational needs

• Maintain proactive, customer-oriented approach within/outside GPMO

• Identify and resolve common data transformation errors

• Control Power BI access and maintain security best practices

• Create and update technical/user documentation

• Manage solution gateways and provide related support

• Monitor technical capacity performance and adjust allocation

• Configure tenant settings for feature management

• Monitor published Power BI content inventory and usage

• Ensure evolution of organizational KPIs and metrics

Required Skills

• University degree in administration, IT, or relevant field

• 3+ years relevant experience, including 2+ years with Power BI

• Advanced Power Query transformation knowledge

• Power Apps knowledge (asset)

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

• Advanced Office 365 knowledge

• Intermediate to advanced English skills (visuals developed in English)
