Mid-Night Shift - 11pm-7:30am

PM Shift - 3pm-11:30pm
 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORAs a Distribution Planner, you will leverage reporting and tools to plan the work that will be executed by the DC Operations team. From end-to-end, Planners are responsible for choosing which containers should be received inbound, which customer PO’s should be processed and which trucks should be loaded outbound. You’ll work closely with partners in DC Operations to generate plans that align to their operating capacities and to problem-solve issues as they arise. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONThis role is responsible for planning the movement of goods inbound, through and out of the Brimley Distribution Center in the most efficient manner possible. Some tasks completed within a typical day would be:- Developing robust plans of action for DC Operations- Monitoring reporting to ensure issues are being resolved and plans are progressing accordingly- Tracking progress against monthly targets to align with daily and hourly tasks- Communicating with internal & external partners to problem-solve in the moment- Managing transportation resources to ensure customer delivery needs are met- Collaborating with DC Operations to support data-driven decision-makingWHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou’ll report directly to the Planning Coach within the Distribution Operations team at the Brimley Distribution Centre in Scarborough. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal partners in DC Operations & Marketplace Supply Chain. Externally, you will work with various transportation partners, Nike stores & wholesale customers. WHAT YOU BRING

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word is required
  • Prior experience using SAP and/or Manhattan WMOS is an asset but not mandatory
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, multi-task, problem solve and meet deadlines is critical
  • Comfortable communicating with others and can articulate deliverables clearly
  • Shift flexibility may be required at times
