Personal Lines TSR

We know insurance can be complicated, that’s why at Mitch we’re on a mission to change the way people feel about insurance, by making it lovable.
This isn’t just a tagline or marketing campaign – it drives everything we do. We start from within, through a culture of unbreakable kindness, positivity and inclusivity. We collaborate, innovate and inspire each other to reach new heights. We believe in always doing the right thing for our customers and communities and know that with a great team, everything is possible.
If you feel the same, and are an experienced TSR with excellent technical and underwriting support skills – we want you on our team.
What you’ll do
We’re a fast-growing company where every day is going to be different. In this dynamic environment, you’ll provide underwriting support to our Sales and Service Brokers in all aspects of the client journey, helping to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
You’ll directly support the processing of all new and clients paperwork and will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and complete underwriting.
Efficiency is your middle name and you’ll continuously be searching for new ways to improve workflows and the processing of any technical-related portal or system changes.

You also understand why it’s important for everyone to love what they do and believe in open and collaborative work environments where employees feel valued, empowered and are encouraged to have fun.
Your qualifications
You know MS Office and email like the back of your hand and have experience working in a broker management system and insurance portals. You’re a motivated self-starter that loves taking initiative and absolutely thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines. You’re also a critical thinker that’s detail oriented and has strong problem solving, project management and time management skills. And on top of all that, you have top-notch oral and written communication skills. Previous administrative experience in the insurance industry and having your RIBO license are definite assets.

Where you’ll work is up to you
We believe in offering a flexible work environment that allows you to decide where you work best. Whether you prefer to be in our Durham Region office or work remotely from anywhere in Canada, the choice is entirely yours.

Come join us
We have very big plans and are on an exciting path to the future. If you want to help bring game-changing ideas to life and make a difference, then join us on our mission to make insurance lovable.

Mitch is an equal opportunity employer, and we’re committed to building an inclusive, diverse and inspiring environment for all employees. If you require any specific accommodations during the recruitment process, please let us know and we’ll be happy to work with you to meet your needs.
