The Team & Role


The Creative team at Sundays for Dogs blends artistic vision with strategic thinking to craft all customer-facing visuals and copy. As part of the Marketing team, this group serves as the stewards of the Sundays brand, working cross-functionally across the company. The Creative team collaborates on a wide range of projects and initiatives, finding innovative ways to tell the Sundays story and connect with new audiences. Known for tackling expansive, ambitious work, the recent Sundays rebrand exemplifies the Creative team’s expertise in multi-platform creative projects.


The Performance Video Editor is responsible for editing and delivering high-quality video content for paid media ads. This role requires strong video editing skills, the ability to manage a fast-paced workflow, keeping up-to-date with current ad trends, generating ideas for ad creative, and the flexibility to make revisions based on feedback. The Performance Video Editor will work closely with the Creative and Growth teams to ensure that all video assets align with brand guidelines and briefs.


This role reports directly to the Paid Creative Lead and is a key player on the Sundays For Dogs Creative team.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage their own workflow to ensure timely delivery of video edits and revisions.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to create weekly briefs that guide the editing process for paid ads.
  • Edit paid ads in line with the submitted brief, ensuring alignment with the creative vision and brand standards.
  • Turn around revisions and edits as requested by the Creative team, incorporating feedback efficiently.
  • Ensure all video content is optimized for different platforms and formats, maintaining high-quality standards across deliverables.
  • Explore and implement AI tools to automate or expedite parts of the editing process, such as content personalization, transcription, generating rough cuts, or creating variations.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in video editing, particularly for paid media or advertising.
  • Experience making video ads for platforms, esp. Meta.
  • Knowledge of creative limitations of various platforms (e.g. ad sizing, ad framing, ad display ratios).
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of creative briefs and brand guidelines.
  • Flexible and responsive to feedback, with the ability to make revisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of the wider paid creative landscape (e.g. newsletters, ad creative networks, performance marketing groups).
  • Experience with animation and creating animated graphics is a plus.
