You'll be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing performance testing activities.

  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and issues.

  • Collaborating with development and QA teams to optimize application performance.

  • Designing and implementing performance test plans.

  • Executing load, stress, and scalability tests.

  • Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.

  • Being acquainted with industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing. Developing NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed.

You bring:

  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, Performance testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.

  • Experience in the creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks including management of test reporting.

  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)

  • Experience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline.

  • Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript.

  • Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver.

  • API testing using POST man or similar.

  • Knowledge with web applications architecture, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Knowledge and experience with Git/Stash

  • Knowledge and experience with Jenkins, Bamboo

  • Knowledge and experience of micro-services architecture regarding integration and functional automation tests

  • Agile team and methodology experience; Kanban experience is desirable.

  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
